Senator Duncan requested that the reconsideration on CS FOR                    
HOUSE BILL NO. 169(RES) "An Act defining the scope of the                      
responsibility of the Department of Natural Resources for regulating           
the mineral resources of the state" be taken up at this time.                  
                                                                               
CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 169(RES) was before the Senate on                        
reconsideration.                                                               
                                                                               
The question to be reconsidered:  "Shall CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO.                 
169(RES) "An Act defining the scope of the responsibility of the               
Department of Natural Resources for regulating the mineral resources           
of the state" pass the Senate?"  The roll was taken with the
